“Dr Vik” graduated from Imperial College in London in 2003 and has been a GP in Australia since 2007 and is now proud to call Adelaide his home.

He finds the pleasure of general practice is seeing patients grow and develop and enjoys walking the journey with patients through both their health and life. He believes in long term therapeutic relationships with patients and their families through continuity of care and high-quality evidence-based medicine.

He has a specific interest in chronic diseases with a particular focus on diabetes, cardiac disease and mental health. In the past he has worked in both youth mental health at Headspace and in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health care services and currently sits on the Board of the Adelaide Primary Health Network. The majority of his career has been in traditional family general practice.

Outside of work Dr Vik enjoys spending time with his wife and twin boys and enjoys his developing his boxing and tennis skills when time permits!
